The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader

Edmund and Lucy return to Narnia for more adventuring with hateful cousin Eustace in tow, hooking up with Caspian (now king and no longer Spanish) and his badass mouse Reepicheep. There’s no answer to the book’s lack of purposeful plot, so we plod from island to island chasing a nondescript evil cloud, and given the price tag the film looks /small/, in both the action and staging (surely $140 million buys more extras than this?). The good news: Will Poulter is a spiteful wonder as Eustace, and a mouse surfs happily to heaven at the end.
